About this policy

This policy explains how Thryv Labs LLC ("ThryvCare," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use gothryv.com and the services offered through it.

Some of the health information we handle is also protected by federal and state health privacy laws, including HIPAA where it applies. This policy does not limit any right those laws give you.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide your care:

• Account information: your email address and the details needed to sign you in. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider, Amazon Cognito; we never see or store it.
• Profile information: your legal name and date of birth.
• Health information you give us: your answers to health questions, the consents you accept, messages with your care team, and any documents you upload.
• Orders and payments: what you order, its price, and whether payment succeeded. You enter card details into our payment provider Stripe's secure form; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Update preferences: the email address or mobile number you choose for updates, and a record of when and how you agreed.
• Technical information: limited details needed to run and protect the site, such as information about requests used to detect abuse and limit repeated sign-in attempts. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one keeps you signed in (thryv_session), two complete the sign-in process (thryv_login and thryv_native_auth), and one remembers your cart (thryv_cart). We do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other sites.

Stripe may set its own cookies on its payment form to prevent fraud. Your browser may also store a note that you dismissed a reminder on your account page.

How we use information

We use your information to:

• create and secure your account;
• let licensed clinicians review your requests and, when appropriate, prescribe;
• send prescriptions to pharmacies and track your orders;
• process payments and refunds;
• send the email or text updates you ask for;
• answer your questions, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for advertising.

How we share information

We share information only in these situations:

• With the clinicians and care team who review your requests.
• With service providers that work for us under contracts that protect your information: Amazon Web Services (hosting, sign-in, and email and text delivery), Stripe (payments), and Healthie and its e-prescribing partner (health records and prescriptions).
• With the pharmacy that fills a prescription you request.
• When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of you or others.
• As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business. Information transferred this way stays protected as this policy and the law require.

Email and text message updates

If you choose to receive updates by email or text message, we use the email address or mobile number you give us only to tell you there is an update in your ThryvCare account or that your order is on the way. These messages never include details about your health, treatment, or medications. A shipping update includes the carrier's tracking link, which shows delivery status to anyone who has the link; it never names what is in the package. You sign in to see everything else.

You can opt in when you accept your treatment consent or at any time in Account, Notification settings. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of any purchase. For email, we may use the address you signed in with, which our sign-in provider has already verified. For text messages, we confirm your number with a one-time code.

Text message terms: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving text messages, or HELP for help. You can also turn email or text updates off in Notification settings. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The full terms are at gothryv.com/sms-terms.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text messaging opt-in and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that send messages for us process this information only to deliver our messages.

How we protect information

Information travels to and from the site over encrypted connections, and our database is encrypted when stored. Access is limited to the people and systems that need it, and important actions are recorded. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as the law requires if a breach affects it.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it to provide your care, keep accurate records, and meet our legal obligations. Medical records are kept for at least as long as the law requires in the state where you receive care. Records of when you agreed to or stopped receiving updates are kept so we can show what you chose.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile and turn email or text updates off at any time in your account. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by contacting us. Some records, such as medical records, must be kept by law even after you close your account.

Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights over your personal or health information, such as the right to know what we collect, to get a copy, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, or to withdraw your consent. To make a request, email support@gothryv.com. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

ThryvCare is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with its effective date. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you before it takes effect.
