THRYV CARE / HEART & METABOLIC HEALTH
Telmisartan
oral tablet
An ARB for blood pressure and cardiovascular risk management.
Medical uses & longevity
Medical indications
Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker, or ARB, used to treat high blood pressure. It blocks signals that narrow blood vessels, allowing them to relax. Your clinician considers blood pressure readings, cardiovascular risk, kidney function and other medicines when deciding whether it is an appropriate part of your care.
Healthy aging & longevity
Managing high blood pressure can reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications over time. Trials of blood pressure treatment support risk reduction in appropriately selected patients, rather than use as a general longevity medicine. These findings do not establish that telmisartan slows biological aging or extends lifespan in healthy adults with normal blood pressure.
Important considerations
Dizziness, low blood pressure, increased potassium and changes in kidney function are possible. Telmisartan can seriously harm a pregnancy. Potassium supplements, salt substitutes and some pain medicines may interact. Follow-up blood pressure readings and laboratory tests help your clinician assess safety and response.

What happens when I get started?
Sign in or create your account, complete your health intake and consent, then review the total and pay. Once payment is confirmed, your request is submitted for clinical review.
Does payment mean I'm approved?
No. A licensed clinician must review your request and decide whether treatment is appropriate before prescribing. Payment alone does not approve treatment or send an order to the pharmacy.
