Micronized Progesterone
oral capsule
Compounded progesterone for clinician-directed menopause care
Medical uses & longevity
Medical indications
Micronized progesterone is a form of the hormone progesterone taken by mouth. Approved reference capsules are used to protect the uterine lining in certain postmenopausal patients taking estrogen and to treat selected cases of absent periods. This BPI capsule is compounded. Your clinician determines its role in your plan; approval of another progesterone product does not establish approval or equivalence of this preparation.
Healthy aging & longevity
In menopause care, progesterone may be part of a treatment plan that manages symptoms while addressing the effects of systemic estrogen on the uterus. It is not a proven anti-aging or life-extension medicine. Menopausal hormone therapy should not be used to prevent heart disease, stroke or dementia.
Important considerations
Progesterone can cause drowsiness or dizziness. Some reference capsules contain peanut oil; the base of this compounded capsule must be confirmed, especially if you have allergies. Your clinician reviews unexplained bleeding, cancer or clotting history, liver disease and interacting medicines. Follow-up checks whether the treatment remains appropriate.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are prepared for an individual patient on a valid prescription.

What happens when I get started?
Sign in or create your account, complete your health intake and consent, then review the total and pay. Once payment is confirmed, your request is submitted for clinical review.
Does payment mean I'm approved?
No. A licensed clinician must review your request and decide whether treatment is appropriate before prescribing. Payment alone does not approve treatment or send an order to the pharmacy.
