Vitamin B12 for clinician-assessed nutritional needs
Medical uses & longevity
Medical indications
Methylcobalamin is an active form of vitamin B12, which the body needs for nerve function, red blood cell formation and DNA production. A clinician may evaluate B12 treatment when deficiency or an absorption problem is suspected. Symptoms such as fatigue or tingling can have several causes, so history and blood tests help guide the decision.
Healthy aging & longevity
Correcting B12 deficiency can address an important barrier to healthy function as you age. That is different from using extra B12 as a longevity treatment. Supplementation has not been shown to improve energy or endurance when B12 status is adequate, and methylcobalamin is not an established way to reverse aging or extend life.
Important considerations
Your clinician reviews diet, gastrointestinal conditions, medicines and laboratory results to choose an appropriate B12 form and follow-up plan. The cause of deficiency may require ongoing care. Evidence about B12 as a nutrient does not establish FDA approval, superiority or effectiveness of this exact pharmacy formulation.

What happens when I get started?
Sign in or create your account, complete your health intake and consent, then review the total and pay. Once payment is confirmed, your request is submitted for clinical review.
Does payment mean I'm approved?
No. A licensed clinician must review your request and decide whether treatment is appropriate before prescribing. Payment alone does not approve treatment or send an order to the pharmacy.
