Losartan
oral tablet
Blood pressure treatment with selected kidney benefits.
Medical uses & longevity
Medical indications
Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker, or ARB, that relaxes blood vessels to lower blood pressure. It is also used for diabetic kidney disease in certain people with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. Your clinician considers blood pressure readings, kidney function and other medicines when assessing suitability.
Healthy aging & longevity
Treating high blood pressure can reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack and other cardiovascular complications. The long-term goal is to lower an identified health risk, with benefits depending on the patient's condition. This evidence does not establish losartan as a treatment that slows aging or extends lifespan in otherwise healthy people.
Important considerations
Losartan can raise potassium, change kidney function or cause dizziness from low blood pressure. It can seriously harm a pregnancy. Potassium supplements, some salt substitutes and anti-inflammatory pain medicines may interact, so medication review and follow-up blood pressure and laboratory checks are important.

What happens when I get started?
Sign in or create your account, complete your health intake and consent, then review the total and pay. Once payment is confirmed, your request is submitted for clinical review.
Does payment mean I'm approved?
No. A licensed clinician must review your request and decide whether treatment is appropriate before prescribing. Payment alone does not approve treatment or send an order to the pharmacy.
