THRYV CARE / WELLNESS
Liothyronine (T3)
oral tablet
Thyroid hormone treatment for selected clinical needs
Medical uses & longevity
Medical indications
Liothyronine is a thyroid hormone medicine used for selected patients with an underactive thyroid. It supplies hormone that the body needs for normal function. It is not generally the first treatment chosen for hypothyroidism; a clinician decides whether there is a specific reason to use it after reviewing symptoms, thyroid tests and treatment history.
Healthy aging & longevity
Its role in healthy aging is the management of a diagnosed thyroid condition. It has not been established as a way to reverse aging, extend lifespan or enhance performance in people with normal thyroid function. Thyroid hormone must not be used to treat obesity or produce weight loss.
Important considerations
Too much thyroid hormone can cause serious effects, including chest pain or a fast or irregular heartbeat. Heart disease, other medicines and supplements can affect treatment decisions. Regular blood tests and symptom review are needed. The appropriate formulation and treatment plan depend on your diagnosis; persistent fatigue alone does not establish a need for thyroid medication.

What happens when I get started?
Sign in or create your account, complete your health intake and consent, then review the total and pay. Once payment is confirmed, your request is submitted for clinical review.
Does payment mean I'm approved?
No. A licensed clinician must review your request and decide whether treatment is appropriate before prescribing. Payment alone does not approve treatment or send an order to the pharmacy.
