THRYV CARE / HEART & METABOLIC HEALTH
Ezetimibe
oral tablet
A non-statin way to lower LDL cholesterol.
Medical uses & longevity
Medical indications
Ezetimibe lowers LDL cholesterol by reducing how much cholesterol the intestine absorbs. It may be prescribed alone or with another cholesterol medicine, alongside dietary changes. Your clinician considers your cholesterol results, cardiovascular history and response to other treatments when deciding whether it fits your care plan.
Healthy aging & longevity
Lowering LDL can be part of reducing future cardiovascular risk. In IMPROVE-IT, adding ezetimibe to a statin reduced cardiovascular events in patients who had recently experienced an acute coronary syndrome, such as a heart attack. This supports use in appropriate patients; it does not prove that ezetimibe slows aging or extends lifespan in healthy adults.
Important considerations
Diarrhea, joint discomfort and muscle symptoms can occur. Liver health and medicine interactions matter, particularly when ezetimibe is combined with other cholesterol treatments. A clinician reviews the full regimen, pregnancy or breastfeeding considerations and any needed laboratory monitoring before and during treatment.

What happens when I get started?
Sign in or create your account, complete your health intake and consent, then review the total and pay. Once payment is confirmed, your request is submitted for clinical review.
Does payment mean I'm approved?
No. A licensed clinician must review your request and decide whether treatment is appropriate before prescribing. Payment alone does not approve treatment or send an order to the pharmacy.
