THRYV CARE / SKIN HEALTH
Azelaic Acid
topical cream
Prescription cream for acne-related bumps and inflammation
Medical uses & longevity
Medical indications
Azelaic acid 20% cream is used to treat acne-related pimples and inflammation. It acts on factors involved in acne, including bacteria and abnormal accumulation of skin cells in pores. Azelaic acid gel and foam have separate rosacea uses; those indications should not automatically be assigned to this cream.
Healthy aging & longevity
Managing acne may improve skin comfort and appearance, but azelaic acid is not an established treatment for slowing biological aging or extending life. Any use for uneven pigmentation or another concern should be assessed separately by your clinician rather than inferred from the ingredient’s reputation.
Important considerations
Burning, stinging, dryness and changes in skin color can occur. Tell your clinician about allergies, asthma, pregnancy or breastfeeding and the other products you apply to your skin. Use the prescribed formulation as directed and keep it away from eyes and mouth. Persistent irritation or unexpected lightening of the skin deserves review.

What happens when I get started?
Sign in or create your account, complete your health intake and consent, then review the total and pay. Once payment is confirmed, your request is submitted for clinical review.
Does payment mean I'm approved?
No. A licensed clinician must review your request and decide whether treatment is appropriate before prescribing. Payment alone does not approve treatment or send an order to the pharmacy.
